Preschool Ministries - Security
At FBC Powell we are committed to providing a safe, secure, clean and nurturing environment for every preschool child. We recognize that parents want and need to know that their child is well provided for and taken care of in their absence.
Because of this commitment we have implemented the following procedures:
- We conduct background checks through a professional screening service on every preschool worker.
- We provide training for every worker on preschool security issues and policies.
- We utilize a computerized check-in/check-out system where parents and approved guardians alone can gain access to their child. This is a photo identification system with secured access.
- We assign a pager to every preschool family. This allows us to contact parents if their child needs them to return to the preschool area.
- We have a secruity team that patrols the preschool department making sure only authorized individuals are in the area.
We have gone to great lengths to provide every child with a safe place to learn about God and every parent an assurance that their child is protected.
