Our Focus
Internationally - We believe God WAnts us to focus primarily on unreached people groups. Therefore, in our international missions, we will be investing a great deal of our efforts in partnerships with specific areas: India, Thailand, China, Mexico, and West Africa.
Nationally - Our strategy will be to develop, strengthen, and plant churches, both directly and indirectly.
Locally - Our main empasis will be in discipling believers and evangelizing the lost in the churches that have been planted in the mobile home parks and Western Heights. WE will also be staring new works as opporunities become available.
It is suggested for trips in 2008 that you take the new TELL classes. In 2009, TELL will be a requirement for participating in mission trips that are primarily focused on evangelism and discipleship. There will be required leadership training and team member training for all trips in 2008.
There are three possibilities with the Great Commission. You can go. You can send. Or you can be disobedient. Ignoring the cause is not a Christian option.
-John Piper

Requirements for trips:
- All trips require FBC membership, unless an exception is made by the Great Commission Leadership Team.
- All trips require faithful attendance at training meetings which usually begin 8 weeks before the trip dates.
- All trips require an application and medical form which may be obtained here, in the church office, or on the missions table in the foyer of the worship center.
