Preschool
As supporters of the overall vision of First Baptist Church, our Preschool Ministry vision statement is to become partners with parents to reach and teach preschoolers in such a way that they have the greatest opportunity to become growing disciples of Christ.
Lifegroups are where the foundations of the Christian faith are laid, as trained and committed teachers share the truths of God’s Word.
AWANAs are on Wednesday night starting for children 3-years-old and up. Our goal is to reach and teach children about the gospel. Preschoolers will also have the opportunity to participate in age-appropriate mission projects as they learn about and pray for missionaries around the world
FBI (Parents Day Out) is Tuesdays & Thursdays, September-May, 9:00am-2:30pm. The purpose of our program is to provide parents with quality childcare, to provide preschoolers with positive learning experiences, and to extend love and concern to families within our church and community.
Each June, we have a Vacation Bible School. Each year there is a new theme and new things to learn, see, and do.
Security is an integral part of our role here at First Baptist. We want to provide you with peace of mind when you leave your children in our care. We utilize a photo identification system to check children in and out of the preschool department’s care. Parents are provided with pagers in the event that a child needs their parent to return to their room. All preschool workers have gone through a background check before they are allowed to serve.
