TELL Training

What is TELL?

Teaching Exchanged-Life Living.  TELL is a unique approach to evangelism and discipleship.  Concerning evangelism—TELL differs from other programs by relying heavily on the Law and the Book of 1 John.  Concerning discipleship—TELL emphasizes the believer’s identity in Christ.

What Does TELL Disciple-Making Ministry Involve?

In addition to weekly classroom training, teams will make evangelistic visits each week, putting into practice what was learned in the classroom.  Each participant of TELL will be part of a 2 or 3 person team.  Each team will be lead by an experienced team leader.  His role will be to walk with you and model for you proper disciple-making techniques.

During the 13-week semester, each disciple will be required to memorize Scripture and information that will enable you to effectively share the Gospel with a lost person.  The emphasis of TELL is making disciples not simply winning converts!

What Will Be Expected of Me?

Because sharing the Gospel and equipping others to do the same is necessary for fulfilling the Great Commission, I prayerfully covenant with God and my church family to the following:

  • I will attend all the weekly training sessions unless providentially hindered.  If I know in advance that I will be absent, I will contact my team leader as soon as possible.
  • I will faithfully work to complete my homework assignments each week.
  • At the end of the trainings semester, I will seek to enlist others for the TELL Evangelism Ministry.
